Backing up Your Firefox Extensions, Add-ons and Themes Using FEBE
Installation of Firefox Add-ons is a simple process, and best place to go first is via the Firefox website and search for FEBE, or click the link to it on the right.
Configuring FEBE
Once installed, follow the instructions below to back up your Firefox Add-ins
- Click on Tools - FEBE - FEBE Options
- Click on the Directory tab
- Click on Browse and choose the directory you wish to store your backups in
- Click on the Options tab
- Choose what items you want backed up
- In the right hand box, we recommend ticking the option to include a copy of FEBE in the backup
Backing up your Firefox Extensions, Add-ons and Themes using FEBE
This is extremely simple... Click on Tools - FEBE - Perform Backup. This will back them up to the specified folder you set above.
Restoring your Firefox Extensions, Add-ons and Themes using FEBE
You must install FEBE on each workstation you wish to use the backups on.
- Once installed, copy your extensions to each workstationusing a flash drive etc.
- Click on Tools - FEBE - Restore - Extensions and then choose all the extensions in the folder when the file dialog window appears.
